Colleen Kaminski, LMT

Our bodies carry our stress and emotional pain in literal ways, and those idiosyncrasies can manifest in our posture, muscle tension, gate, and so on. Discovering massage therapy not only brought my attention to these mannerisms, but it also helped me recognize where they developed and how I could change them. Ever since, I have desired to share my knowledge and safe touch with those who need it; that is what ultimately lead me to become a massage therapist.

Since I graduated from the nationally recognized Irene's Myomassology Institute, I have focused on refining my techniques to address various sources of chronic pain and muscle tension that my client's accumulate from their daily lives, whether that be strenuous sports or sitting at a desk. I incorporate Trigger Point Release, muscle stripping, various stretching techniques, and other modalities in tandem with relaxation massage so my clients benefit by achieving rest and relief.

I enjoy addressing head, neck and lower back pain, as my personal experiences with these issues has taught me a great deal. I appreciate feedback before, during, or after any session so I may build solid communication with every client, grow as a therapist, and provide a level of comfort to truly individualize every massage.

Outside of massage therapy, I enjoy learning Brazilian Jui Jitsu, exploring urban decay, expressing myself through writing, and being an auntie to some really awesome little people!

She is extremely passionate about healing and is excited to be joining our elite team where she can further deepen her knowledge and abilities.
