Grace Adams, BCTMB, LMT
Grace Adams, the owner of Body Conscious, graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 2008. She worked as a massage therapist at several clinics in Ann Arbor before deciding to start her own. She became nationally certified (now called Board Certified) in 2012, and has taken courses taught by some of the best healers in the area to expand her craft. Her commitment to excellence is what caused her to start Body Conscious Massage Therapy.
Grace started Body Conscious in 2011 as an independent practitioner in a small room in Kerrytown. That was the beginning of her mission to create a team of healers to help the Ann Arbor community live happy and health, pain and strees-free lives.
Not only does Grace practice massage therapy, she also teaches medical students, physicians, other healthcare providers, and fellow massage therapists her techniques, all while continuing to grow and expand her business.
Grace's specialties include:
Caryn Howell, LMT

Jolyn Baker, BCTMB, LMT
Jolyn joined our team in June of 2013 and has been an integral part of Body Conscious ever since. Her sweet personality and commitment to her craft have been invaulable to our growth as a team and company.
After recovering from an injurious car accident in 1991, Jolyn came to believe that she was here for a reason: to help people overcome injury, illnes, and disease. Pursuant to this goal, she decided to become a respiratory therapist. The fast pace of that field made Jolyn realize it was time for a change, and so after 15 years, she resolved to become a massage therapist.
Jolyn graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute located in Southfield, Michigan in 2012. Since then, Jolyn has continued to learn several additional massage techniques and became licensed and Board Certified.
Jolyn's specialties include:
Krysta Montville, LMT
Colleen Kaminski, LMT
Our bodies carry our stress and emotional pain in literal ways, and those idiosyncrasies can manifest in our posture, muscle tension, gate, and so on. Discovering massage therapy not only brought my attention to these mannerisms, but it also helped me recognize where they developed and how I could change them. Ever since, I have desired to share my knowledge and safe touch with those who need it; that is what ultimately lead me to become a massage therapist.
